MDL Sound Storm

Project overview

MDL Soundstorm is one of the largest music festivals in the Middle East, featuring large-scale LED installations and a demanding live video production environment. The project required a stable and carefully prepared video system that could operate reliably throughout the event.

Technical role

I configured and tested the media servers, video outputs, signal routing, LED mappings, and content playback workflow. I also verified system synchronization, communication between devices, and backup procedures. The final system was documented and delivered fully operational, allowing the in-house video operators to manage the shows efficiently and reliably.

Technical approach

I worked as a Video Operator, responsible for preparing, installing, and configuring the complete video system. My role was to ensure that all equipment, signals, outputs, and workflows were fully tested and ready before handing the system over to the in-house operators for the live shows.
